Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms
Sndesh is a service of Aptiva AI LLP (“Sndesh”, “we”, “us”). It lets small businesses in India answer, book, remind and send offers to their own customers on WhatsApp, from their own WhatsApp Business number, through the official WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta. These terms apply to anyone who signs up for or uses Sndesh at sndesh.com (“you”). By creating an account you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
Your account
- Who can use Sndesh: a business, or a person aged 18 or over acting for a business, that can agree to these terms.
- Accurate details: the business name, email and other details you give us must be true and kept up to date.
- Keeping it secure: you are responsible for what happens under your account, including by staff you add. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
Your WhatsApp number and Meta
- It stays yours: you connect your own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta’s signup window. You can disconnect it at any time.
- Meta’s rules apply: you must follow the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy. Meta decides which message templates are approved, your number’s quality rating and messaging limits, and can restrict or block a number. We cannot overrule those decisions.
- Meta’s charges: WhatsApp’s own message charges are billed by Meta to the payment method on your WhatsApp Business Account. Sndesh does not collect them or add anything to them.
Your customers and their consent
You decide who you message and what you send, and you are responsible for it. You may send offers and other marketing only to people who have agreed to hear from you on WhatsApp, and you must keep a record of that agreement. Anyone who replies STOP (or बंद) is stopped automatically; do not add them back without their fresh consent. For the customer data you bring to Sndesh, you decide how it is used and we process it on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. You must have the right to give it to us and must follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to your business.
What you may not send
- Unlawful or harmful messages: anything illegal, fraudulent, threatening, abusive or misleading.
- Messages to people who did not agree: bought, scraped or shared lists, or anyone who has opted out.
- Restricted goods and services: anything WhatsApp’s Commerce Policy does not allow on its platform.
- Someone else’s identity: messages that pretend to come from a business or person you are not.
We may stop a message, a campaign or a workflow that breaks these rules, or that puts your number or other businesses at risk.
Prices, wallet and payments
- No monthly plan: you add money to a prepaid wallet and are charged from it only when something sends. Current prices are shown in the app and on our home page, and include GST.
- Payments: top-ups are processed by our payment provider, Razorpay. We never see your card number, UPI PIN or bank login.
- Your balance: wallet money does not expire. If you close your account, any unused balance is refunded to the original payment method.
- Price changes: we will show new prices in the app before they apply. A change never applies to something that has already been sent.
Free pictures and your content
The profile and cover pictures in Sndesh are generic images made for Sndesh. You may use them for your business on WhatsApp and elsewhere; they are not photographs of your business, and other businesses may use the same ones. You keep all rights in your own content, such as your messages, price list and customer list, and allow us to use it only to run Sndesh for you.
Availability
We work to keep Sndesh running and your messages going out on time, but it depends on Meta’s platform, payment providers and the internet, which we do not control. We cannot promise it will be available without interruption, or that every message will be delivered.
Closing or suspending an account
You can close your account at any time by writing to [email protected] from your registered email. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or Meta’s policies, or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. What happens to your data is set out on our data deletion page.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Sndesh is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost customers, or for actions taken by Meta, including template rejections or restrictions on your number. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Sndesh in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Changes and the law
We will post changes to these terms on this page with a new “last updated” date, and tell account holders about material changes by email or WhatsApp before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions about them can go to [email protected].
