User Data Deletion

To delete your Sndesh account and all data we hold for it:

• Email us: write to [email protected] from your registered email with the subject “Delete my account”. No reason required.
• What happens: we disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account and delete the stored access token immediately; your customer contacts, opt-in/opt-out records, campaigns, and message delivery data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Any unused wallet balance is refunded to your original payment method before closure.
• What we must keep: payment, invoice, and tax records are retained for the period required by Indian law, and then deleted.
• Confirmation: we confirm by email when deletion is complete, within 30 days of your request.

If you remove Sndesh’s access from your Meta Business settings (or deauthorize the app on Facebook), our access token becomes invalid and is flagged and deleted by our daily token health check within 24 hours. That alone does not delete your Sndesh account data. Email us as above if you also want the account and its data removed.

Sndesh sends messages on behalf of the business you shared your number with; that business controls its customer list.

• Stop receiving messages: reply STOP (or बंद) to any message. Your number is suppressed for that business immediately and automatically.
• Delete your number entirely: ask the business directly, or email [email protected] with your phone number and the business name, and we will remove your data on the business’s instruction or where the law requires, and confirm within 30 days.

Deletion covers everything Sndesh stores: account details, WhatsApp connection data and tokens, contact lists, opt-in/opt-out logs, campaign and delivery records, and notification history. Messages already delivered to recipients’ phones, and data held by Meta or Razorpay under their own policies, are outside Sndesh’s systems and are governed by their respective privacy policies.
